Living and playing in the harsh sun of the deserts and mountains of Utah, we know the importance of quality, non-toxic sunscreen. We saw the need for high-quality, high-performance sunscreen packaged to meet the unpredictable needs of the athletes who live and play here as we do.

Who We Support

Our team is made up of outdoor enthusiasts and an awesome roster of up-and-coming extreme athletes from across the spectrum of extreme outdoor sports. We believe in helping individuals and athletes push the limits of what is possible while respecting and protecting nature.

Our Founders

Born and raised in Utah, we grew up slathering sunscreen on year-round — from summers in the heat of the red rock deserts to winters on the high-altitude slopes of the Wasatch Mountains.

We've tried nearly every sunscreen brand under the sun and could never find one that met our needs or expectations. So, we decided to create it ourselves. Salt & Swagger is committed to providing 100% mineral sun protection that is reef-safe, earth-safe, and sustainable. Our non-nano zinc formula leaves almost zero white cast and is packaged in small flexible pouches that reduce the amount of plastic being produced and consumed.

What are the active ingredients in your Mineral Sunscreen Lotion?

We use a concentration of 20% non-nano Zinc Oxide as the only active ingredient in our mineral sunscreen lotion. Non-nano zinc is widely known as the most protective and fully reef-safe mineral sunscreen ingredient. Because of its particle size, it doesn't dissolve in seawater and is considered too large to be absorbed or ingested by coral and marine life. It also forms an immediate protective physical barrier on your skin that doesn't absorb into your bloodstream.

Does your Mineral Sunscreen Lotion leave a white cast?

Our mineral sunscreen lotion was specially formulated not to leave the typical heavy white cast that is often associated with mineral sunscreens. Our sunscreen rubs in smoothly and easily, leaving almost no white cast, and feels light on the skin with no greasy residue.
What does Salt and Swagger smell like?

Salt and Swagger's OG Mineral Sunscreen Lotion has a custom scent, specially formulated for the brand to match our unique vibes. Unlike most sunscreens, we didn't want a tropical, beachy vibe. Instead, our OG formula smells fresh and woody, pulling from elements like the forested mountains and desert breeze to create a scent that will feel familiar to athletes across all types of extreme landscapes.

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns at this time.

Do you ship Internationally?

At this time we only ship within the U.S. However, we do hope to add international shipping in the near future, so stay tuned!
